About the Founder

Giovanna Steele

I started making pom pom earrings a few years ago - just for me, with no intention of ever selling them. They were joyful, versatile and such a unique way to express personality through something so simple.

What happened next was the real surprise. I couldn't go anywhere without people stopping me to ask where they could get them. They made people smile. They started conversations. After years of requests, I decided it was time to share them with the world - and House of Pom Pom was born.

Our values

To create consciously crafted contemporary jewellery brand that empowers women to express themselves boldly, beautifully and authentically.

Integrity
We prioritise responsible and ethical production and sourcing. Transparency and fairness guide every decision we make.
Craftswomanship
Every piece is handcrafted by talented women artists. Created with care, passion and respect for traditional techniques in the UK.
Longevity
We design beyond trends. Our unique, bold and timeless design paired with the highest quality materials create earrings that can be loved and worn for years.
Individuality
Our earrings are created for women who express themselves unapologetically. They are bold yet refined, bring confidence and style and rarely go unnoticed.

Our Process

Crafted in the UK with finest Italian tulle

Our earrings are crafted in collaboration with trusted artists in the UK, who share our commitment to ethical practice and attention to detail. Each piece is carefully produced in small batches and inspected by our Head of Design to maintain the highest standards for every piece. From initial idea to responsible sourcing and product, every stage is considered.

Behind the Pom Pom

Made by hand, Refined by time

Every pom pom is shaped by hand, the fabric moving through skilled fingers until it finds its form. It is a skill built slowly, over time, through patience and a deep love of the craft.

Every piece that leaves our studio has been touched, turned and cared for by someone who takes real pride in what they make. This is what handmade really means.

Sourced from Italy, OEKO-TEX® certified and chosen for its lightness, softness and beautiful drape. Gentle against the skin and wonderfully lightweight.
18k Gold-Plated Hoop

Chosen for its comfort, durability and elegant proportion
- the perfect foundation for every pom pom.

Meet the Artisans

Behind the Craft

Ana Paula

Ana Paula has been drawn to crafts and creativity her whole life. Inspired by bold colours, rich textures, and the joy of making something truly one-of-a-kind, she brings an instinctive artistry to every pair she works on. As Head Pom Pom Maker, she brings both precision and passion to the process and it's her love of exploring new skills that keeps every piece feeling alive. "What I love most about making pom poms," she says, "is that each pair is completely unique."

Sharon

Sharon is a visual artist and maker who has always been drawn to colour, texture and the joy of working with her hands. She studied Fashion Textiles at Middlesex Polytechnic, specialising in printed textiles, and spent years exploring sustainable natural dyes and experimental fibre art. Based in Whitstable for over twenty years, she spends her days close to the sea - making, collecting, and finding beauty in the everyday. Her beach walks collecting finds along the tide line, governed by the moon cycle, are where the pom pom making feels most at home. The spherical shapes she makes remind her of the solar system: the sun, the moon, our planet."I love nothing more than to admire a fluffy soft pom pom against the seascape, or an ebony pom pom held up to the setting sun - like a perfect eclipse. Variety is the spice of life, and making wearable art is my version of it -when you put these on, you're at a fiesta."
